In the future, on-chain light clients might no longer be necessary. Thanks to zk proofs, the integrity of any block could be directly verified by tracing it back to the genesis block. Although this approach may appear to be futuristic, it is rapidly approaching feasibility.

A fixed challenge period in a zk coprocessor (or similar systems) using an AVS can lead to unexpected behavior: If the proof generation time exceeds the challenge period, incorrect results could be accepted, and slashing wouldn't occur. Managing this is delicate, as implementing a dynamic challenge period isn't easy.

The Eidoo card was the first debit card to use a L2, specifically Loopring, which was the cheapest at the time. It was live from 2021 to 2023. It was one of the most fun and rewarding projects I have ever worked on. PS: It allowed me to show my parents that I had a real job 😂

Does anyone know how slashing happens on @alignedlayer ? The whitepaper states that the validators who provided a wrong proof are slashed. As far as I have understood, just one proof is posted on Ethereum. How can I slash the validators? Who can slash them?

Farcaster should define a standard for feeds, and clients should offer users the ability to switch feed providers based on their preferences. This approach could also give rise to a "feed economy," where creators pay a fee to the feed provider to have their content displayed.

Using an Eigen Layer AVS to verify zk proofs is not a safe choice. What happens if the restaked amount is less than the amount secured by a proof? Verification must be done on-chain. At most, you can use an AVS to aggregate proofs
