Believe modern people are so burnt out on information and events this is typical response. In fact the Pentagon has all but confirmed “UFOs” are real in the past new years and it didn’t generate much interest.

The hearing are nonsense, IMO it's a distraction campaign. I believe there's alien life out there 100% but there's no good evidence for UFOs on Earth. It's usually cover for military testing campaigns would be my guess.

My conspiracy theory is that they’re more than likely space Nazis that escaped Nuremberg trials by giant submarine, dropped some of their lower ranking officers off in Argentina before they made their way to NeuSchwabenland base underneath the Antarctic ice. Admiral Richard E Byrd even fought them in Operation Highjump, he had a pretty crazy interview about it too
