Users of Ledger hardware wallets have been targeted with fake letters pretending to be from the company, warning about a supposed "critical security update." These messages urge users to scan a QR code and enter their 24-word recovery phrase, aiming to steal access to their wallets. Ledger has confirmed these letters are fraudulent and stressed that it never asks for recovery phrases through any form of communication.
