"AI Art" by Joanna Zylinska. 2020. Open Humanities Press. ::: just finished reading this. it places selected AI art / artists in historical context and goes beyond the usual "can computers be creative?" questions. I particularly appreciated the final chapter on post-internet art. great reference list also!

thank you! I was happy to have the paper copy for this one to concentrate more on it but have got kindle versions of another of her books. pdf is handy too for checking on the computer, thanks!

I find it hard to read a book on screen, but the ability to search is really nice!

yes can understand. paper is my preference but I've been told not to buy more books (oops). so having both options is great. search is definitely useful, and bookmarking/notes etc
