Why, WHY is homework given to 3 year olds?

These are projects that are then displayed and ranked and give. Awards. 

The last one was recycling based and one kid/parent has a nearly working robot the size of a child. 

This time it’s about vehicles that move and prior examples include rockets and stuff and that is what we did.

It’s just busy work and silly. 

We don’t even do our homework for my first grader - if she’s motivated to do it, sure. But I’m not gonna force it. She’s 6.

I think for the next school my first question will be how much homework they give.
