i don’t agree with timeline or what content wins outside what currently wins/is popular but generally speaking not being an asshole is a good rule of thumb. however— in my opinion, a lot of otherwise “bad actions” get away here because of this nice culture, and eventually i think those things will be considered toxic too. a great example is when someone takes money from others— the way someone responds is a secondary issue. when people get away with it, that reinforces it.
