genuine question: how did U2 become like the biggest band in the world (iTunes releases, Sphere residency, etc) when i (and a lot of people i ask) can’t really name more than two songs? disclaimer: with or without you is a good song

i only know of them from being included for free on my apple device as a younger lad and everyone i knew hated it maybe a gay move by tim or something
