i think that privacy is national security and catching these people will be a lot more difficult. hence not a local police operation but some foreign or domestic terrorist operations. i guess this is a bit fear baited but i see no way this doesn’t ramp up in the next 10 years not to mention ceos/leaders being targeted recently

I think our ability for telepresence necessitates more focus on the innermost layers of the onion. bad actors should perceive a heightened risk and more upfront work, but the panopticon does not help this; it can even be a moravec's situation.
