you mean the guy who comes and casts 1x / week and only likes or engages with replies to his own content? 

don't know how often he scrolls through the feed or tries to explore, but if his observable actions represent his experience then i can see why it is boring for him.

imo this isn’t a “who to follow” problem it’s a “everyone who posts stuff on here is exactly the same” problem. doesn’t matter who you follow if all the content is about voting for purple/going to an event/working on AI and/or crypto startup
