i see many comparing the crypto AI agent explosion to 2020 DeFi. i get why that is and i'd love for it to be true. but DeFi was anchored around some core "jobs to be done": swapping, lending, stables, crowdfunding. what is the analogous set of uses for agents?

i do think a subset of them exist actually but only 1 is the current focus (i.e. virtuals/ai16z)

roll filling, dao governance, context specific KOL are a few that come to mind

for example a dao that controls a lot of channels can generate revenue and delegate positions to human or agent mods. that dao can near full autonomous imo

i'm not sure if AI is good enough for that yet?

no, none i've seen. the agent leverage is going to be on farcaster both in ease of code and access to data (imo), i'd check back in 3 months.
