I’m actually curious about this: Is it “worse” for an OP to get quote-casted than replied to? I love when people quote cast me and think it’s often a more interesting commentary than a reply. It seems like a better distribution of the OP too(?)

Quoting is an anti-signal on Twitter for the most part. According to pmarca it's active disagreement. In general I think it mostly just formally steals content from the OP here since people like me don't typically click through (this is a case in point). Should work to do recasts properly instead of this. I think it benefits the quoter far more than the OP. it's defendable here because it boosts engagement more than recast but imo what i said stands

I think the "stealing" mentality just isn't how farcaster's culture works and that's the difference. (At least for now) I take your point about how it's working on twitter – hadn't fully realized that, but it makes sense.
