Fundraising is an art, especially for first-time founders coming from little network nor track records. My pre-seed ($500K) got many no’s but Haseeb at Dragonfly Robert from Compound/Robot chose to bet on me Then Showtime.xyz got traction soon after. Instant $7M raise from Paradigm & Naval. Timing is key!

And bear in mind, I already was Alex from the $ALEX token and widely known in the crypto community. Well that was a PR blackpill: investors don’t invest millions just because you’re crypto Twitter famous, traction is what truly justifies a seed round!

This feels like FriendTech's private, paid chats. I'm unsure about pay-to-access communities; they seem to stray from the internet's ethos, focusing more on speculation than real value. What's the actual value proposition?

This post resonated with me. Did almost the same pre-seed, shipped crazy-fast, and gained a lot of traction. Did that on a lesser-known non-EVM chain though, and are now expanding our vision into EVM. Fingers crossed for seed. 🫰
