I don’t get much engagement when I post a video, vs when I type something up or post and image it does better. I don’t spend much time going through the videos in the app anymore because I see the same 7-10 creators and I enjoy conversations and not just watching— If I knew people were watching and enjoying my videos it would be easier to find the motivation to film one. It feels like I’m stabbing around in the dark to try to figure out what works best, and without feedback like comments or much engagement, it feels like I’m just posting it there to die and I’m supposed to read between some lines somewhere. Maybe I missed the clues somewhere idk

I have cut back my posting on @drakula so my best content can go directly into the channel I manage. Cross posting has also hurt my SCR and engament scores because (/drakula and /base-creators) channels get less engagement than if I just posted directly into the correct subject channel I am not using @drakula as much as I would like because a lot of posts are just stolen from TikTok. Most of the top drip holders are just farmers stealing content and that bothers me to reward them by watching I don’t share with friends outside of crypto cause in USA at least in my circles I am looked at as a loser and an alien for it Hope this helps 💚🫂

no disrespect meant, i went on drakula, scrolled for 5 min, content was entirely re-posted from elsewhere. love the idea, but serves no purpose for me. FB, YT, IG and TT are all already serving the same videos daily, don't need a 5th place (and really don't need the other 5 either tbh -- trying hard to get down to just 1 source)

I only think to go on Drakula when I have a video to post/share - I don’t go on it just to browse and discover cause the content feels too crypto native to me. I wouldn’t share with friends outside of crypto cause I don’t see a big need or reason to

Oh and one more thing: buying creator tokens… They should show up in my wallet. I want to be able to gift them, or send the around. Also these accounts with super high $DEGEN prices, something should be done. Because they’re sitting on the sidelines now, nothing they can do to drop their prices. Nobody is buying @gino at these prices (sorry bro) 😎 Give them the option to cash out some $DEGEN and drop their price. I realize this is sensitive, because all their potential holders will get a haircut. This should be done with a grace period

I still post virtually daily but not the usual 5 that I used to. I noticed a relatively big drop off in views…I’m not saying that it’s the apps fault, but maybe more of a feedback loop to not put as much content. 🤣

I'm thrilled to see your commitment to community feedback! I've been curious about Drakula but haven't had the chance to dive in yet. Some friends outside the crypto space are hesitant due to lack of understanding about how it works. Maybe more educational content could help bridge that gap!

Improving the feed might help. And showing users videos of creators which they have spent drip on more might help. Also something follow or comments might improve engagement!

Perhaps the biggest point is: What is DRIP for? Because now people are hoarding it, but it is also meant for tipping? Is DRIP for tipping? Then there is no alignment with how it’s earned… Now the incentive is to get as much drip as possible, so people are not tipping it that much. Earning drip by posting quantity, not quality, is a problem. There should be more complexity in the drip earning algo. (I think I saw something that you can earn more drip if you mint a video that gets many mints? Not sure, maybe it was earn ETH?) Would be cool if we could stake drip on videos and creators, and when they do well, our yield increases. So in short: im holding off inviting friends and family over, until it feels like more thought has gone into incentive alignment.

The amount of farmers is pretty bad. Looking at the drip rank, the top 10 is now almost all farming accounts. The top 10 should be the most inspiring creators. Now instead we have bad examples, making both the app look bad (aren’t there good creators that do well on this platform?) and making creators feel bad (aren’t the real creators supposed to be the ones getting most rewards?)

I would like you to pay more attention to creators who create really original content for your platform and not copy and steal from Tik Tok. I was hoping to find a really good platform where I could grow, but it turns out that I'm just wasting my time.

I enjoy using @drakula I’m also tipping videos w drip It would be useful to see who gives drips on videos for everyone to see the supporters. I also think knowing what the future of drip is would be helpful
