We raised so long ago (2021) and right now are stuck in-between seed and series A stage

Yes Drakula is doing well overall
Yes we raised VC money but in 2021 and not particularly well positioned to raise more

Hence why I thought would be nice to get something for the large activity we created. OP can always say no!

I get the classic “OSS grants aren’t for VC backed co’s” thesis but reality is more nuanced imo

yeah i’m cool with vc backed projects getting grants — just the tone of the og post hit me the wrong way
