2024: the year of “I did that.” Honestly I didn’t really know where to start with this. I made a list of what happened this year, and almost felt a little overwhelmed… Realizing that I couldn’t remember everything. Recognizing that it all flew by so quickly. Feeling I’ve lived several lives in the span of a single year. And of course, a part of me still wonders, “did I do enough?”. Classic. I’d need to write a novel to summarize what this year and it's impact, but the TLDR: I officially left my full-time academic career in pursuit of art and photography. Everything else either led up or continued from that. And it’s wild to think… damn. *I did that*. Wildly exciting and terrifying lol. One thing’s for sure though. I couldn’t be happier with the decision I made. I absolutely loved my scientific career, but this is the right direction for me now. 2024 was monumental and rad. 2025 will be monumental and rad. We keep climbing.

there's actually a lot of amazing art and artists on @hypersub so I don't fully agree with that. I don't care if base wants to make their own pump fun but to pretend like this is a move to support artists is not the way

but if you want the art to be sold why not just mint it as an ERC 721 or 1155? Social media is a vehicle to share and attract attention, which then can support real collecting of art... is there really a need to tokenize a post as a means to have it "sold"? I dunno the model isn't for me (for art anyway)

I know you do!! and many artists did. But the larger CT community didnt GAF until it impacted their bags. Thank you for saying that too - feel like I'm taking crazy pills sometimes and it's reassuring to know that folks I respect tremendously like yourself feel the same <3

lolllllll so /now/ everyone’s mad about the “coin everything” thing? when literally /two months ago/ the same platforms released the "1B supply model" for all art minted but /no one cared/ until they started losing money on the “coins” shilled by those platforms makes sense 🙃
