Has anybody moved Plex > Jellyfin and takes on whether it’s worth it?

I’ve been a Plex user for so long but worried that all the changes don’t bode well for the long term

How do you find it works for less techy people borrowing access to the library?

yeah i swapped back and forth for a couple of years but made the full-time switch maybe 2y ago, jellyfin is rock solid and feels much lighter than plex, i love it

Sounds like a very similar situation to what I’m in

In not being as easy for non-tech users, I’m more worried about how stable and consistent it is on an ongoing basis once setup (since I can is usually so the initial setup with them) - any thoughts there?

I haven’t migrated but have used both. They are very similar in setup, only slight negative to Jellyfin is the setup for non-tech users is a bit more complex (ip/domain needed). JF live TV integration is much smoother too if that’s something you’re interested in

If I didn’t have Plex lifetime I would probably move to JF permanently
