NYC had a few super memorable places back in the day Avant Garden Dirt Candy Wild Ginger Sacred Chow Zen Palate (To name a few)

Yeah, Sacred Chow had a daily hummus sandwich + soup combo that was verrry solid Zen Palate had a miso soup w spinach filled won-tons that was also quite good I knew all the good soup spots when I lived in NYC lol The other places are a little more high-end but *still good*
