What if instead of appending contractURI with more data, a new method was defined like mediaURI. This could contain the same sort of metadata that NFTs have today, but more importantly, I think indexers and other contracts would have a simpler way to differentiate between mediacoin ERC-20s and coincoin ERC-20s

I think the established way to do this would be ERC165 supportsInterface

I see, so there’s simply a new interface defined for mediacoin. I still like the idea of having mediaURI separate from contractURI. Just feels cleaner
