started a new account this weekend and casts are not showing up on Warpcast, account doesn’t show up in search, it’s totally hidden I can’t imagine trying to get started on farcaster today, would be nearly impossible to build any kind of following

I think about this daily. Seems like it's impossible to be seen on the app unless you're popular or become a replyguy to get a power badge. Both not very conducive to onboarding new users.

Hey I’m currently doing this exact thing. I abandoned intentionally an older account and started this one. You are right, the new user experience is just not good. The social element has really been crippled for new accounts. Like ghosts observing from the shadows, talking to themselves.

New user onboarding is not the best. You are not important if you don’t have the powerbadge, only reason I can think of is bot control.
