i've been curious about raspberry pi's for a while - any recs on what would be a good starter project? how hard is it to have it for example fetch data from some api and illuminate a small LED board 24/7 based on that data

This was a pretty fun one, and it’s actually very useful: https://warpcast.com/alexgrover.eth/0x57955b33 The sky is the limit though, they run Linux so you can do pretty much anything. The api + LED would be pretty simple
