out of curiosity. is it bad practice to note take in your commits? kinda like what I do here on warpcast. eg. I'm in the middle of work, I have a thought worth noting, related to the work at hand, I immediately switch to the medium of preference. Can I just do that with my commits? eg. i'm pushing a change and there was some good lessons learned in those changes, i embed those lessons learned in the commit. forgive me for the noob-ish behavior.

this is what I follow: https://tbaggery.com/2008/04/19/a-note-about-git-commit-messages.html it basically doesn’t matter unless you’re working as part of a large team, and even then there are other places to keep concise records (PRs, tickets, wikis, etc) so do whatever is easiest for you to find later
