Seeking advice: I thought I'd be a ultrawide monitor guy but after 8 years of rocking a 34" QHD at 50hz (my kvm is wack) I _think_ what I really want is a much sharper display. A 4K 27" 120hz display to be exact. Anyone have strong opinions for either? Especially for reading/writing docs or code!

Dough Spectrum looks good but the official site looks like this and B&H has it for $230 off. I wonder what happened!

lmao yeah there are some horror stories about their customer service on Reddit, they did a presale and took a really long time to deliver. Luckily I haven’t had any issues personally tho!

I can’t even wrap my head around these refresh rates haha, 120 is already a big leap for me! fwiw I don’t game any more nor was never into competitive FPS games, I prob need something simpler and focused on text clarity + productivity

Fantastic read! I obsess over pixel perfect alignment when I’m on figma or making icons, and this explains so much why the 2x scaled display on MacBooks looks so much crisper (beyond being slightly bigger) This article makes me lean even more to this 5k@120hz ultrawide!
