Fair point, but even with a migration, hitting $1B TVL in 66 days is no small feat. A rebrand alone doesn’t guarantee that kind of capital inflow, users and liquidity still have to move, and they only do that if the ecosystem is compelling. I think the pace at which Sonic attracted TVL speaks to strong network effects and demand.

Any idea what % of that is their native token, and how that compares to the other chains?

Good question. Hard to say exactly, but I think Sonic’s TVL surged from $153M to $253M in January while $S dropped 40%, probably suggesting liquidity isn’t just from its native token.

Yep, looks like real inflows rather than just native token inflation. The speed at which it happened is what makes it stand out IMO
