What’s been your favourite grape / region / style discovery in the past year? For me it’s Grenache. I used to think it was “simple, hot weather, fruit roll up wine” or whatever the stereotype. But it’s so much more interesting and complex than its reputation! Not just CNDP but also in priorat, Australia…

Never really enjoyed dessert wines, but went to Portugal and drank a large share of Port. Really grew on me, in particular vintage & ruby

I became a big Prosecco fan in the past couple of years. It is a perfect wine for the summer or for casual daydrinking with friends. Light and refreshing.
