muscle confusion is a myth that IM companies like p90x used to sell their fitness programs. just switch up workouts enough to keep things fresh and enjoyable :)

for example, 3x workouts per week could look like this (each letter is a diff workout). but a beginner/intermediate could do the same three workouts for 4-6 weeks with progressive overload and see great results

you don’t need to switch exercises that frequently. do the same exercises for a few weeks and harness progressive overload - increased weight, increased reps, more sets, decreased rest, etc
