There's a very interesting fiasco playing out at Bluesky currently. For those not following, Bluesky is a social network based on a theoretically decentralized identity system (atproto). Practically, there's only 1 implementation and 1 app to interface it: Bluesky.

Full nodes have become inaccessible. 4TB hard drives are expected to be required in 6 months. Light clients are coming, and we'll see their adoption gradually. Helios, Portal, and Nimbus are currently leading this way. also EIP - 4444 is quite important.
