Context: I built a marquee element containing images. On iOS, when some off-screen images moved on-screen, they wouldn't appear until touched (there's a hover effect)

Tried adding a bunch of properties (backface-visibility, transform-style, translate3d, perspective, etc) and none worked, until this monster above

Yup tried adding that. At first to the parent elements, and then the child elements. But no dice

have you tried will-change: transform as well?
