I'm trying to avoid overexertion. Normally, during a 2-hour run, I cover around 13-14 miles with minimal vertical gain. However, yesterday I ran for 2 hours and covered about 11.5 miles with 1700 feet of vertical gain. I felt good but didn't want to overdo it.

The trail was blooming beautifully today. I revisited some old trails and had forgotten just how much fun it is to run on a single track as the sun breaks through the overgrowth. I thought the hiker was going to join me.

Full-stacked field last night for the 5000m at the USATF LA Grand Prix. The talent was out, and we saw some fast times and a new stadium record. Excited to see how these athletes progress over the next couple of months for the big show in August.
