It depends on so many things - title, industry, remote vs hybrid/onsite. 3 months seems like a minimum. If you are top of your game, have extensive experience and good connections, could be less than 3. Most people should prepare for 6+, especially if going for highly competitive remote positions.

depends on industry and skill level it is easy to lie with statistics too, does it account for underemployment in the study? ex: if i study law, cannot find a job with my skill, and find a cashier job instead
