I feel like I've gotten to a point in my life where I've kinda just lost interest in gaming.

Like it's hard for me to find the motivation to play them because I put so much effort and time into a video game to receive nothing of real world value. It also doesn't have the same magic like it used to.

Probably just need to find the right game. I thought this for years, then Valheim sucked me in massively and changed that

I actually tried Valheim for a little bit. Game looked great but I couldn't really get into it.

Always been an open-world adventure gamer. Maybe it's time to branch out a bit and try a different genre.

Yeah I'm the same, open world adventure and strategy type games are really my jam. I find with most games in these genres there is an initial learning curve you need to get over before they can really suck you in.
