While establishing a U.S. Crypto Strategic Reserve might legitimize crypto assets, doesn’t government ownership fundamentally undermine the decentralized ethos that drew us to crypto in the first place?

I think this will be the ultimate litmus test to see just how decentralized and censorship resistant crypto really is. It's all permissionless, or at least it's claimed to be, so there's nothing stopping big gov buying up all the coins if they wanted to. Interesting to see how the ecosystem evolves as a result of this.
