benefits: improve co2 tolerance, decrease stress, improve recovery and vitality

protocol:

- breathing through the nose
- hand on the chest, hand on the belly
- take smaller than usual breaths, using the diaphragm
- take a short inhale, then fully relax respiratory muscles on the exhale
- create a feeling of light air hunger, this shouldn’t be forced or discomfortable
- sustain for 4-5 minutes and take a break back to normal breathing if you need to
- repeat x4

note: breathing should be slow and light, do not try to force it. this is like jogging, not like a sprint.
