In multiple European cities now I see taxis being allowed to use the bus lane (while of course regular cars are not). What's the policy justification for this?

European Taxi drivers are professional driver (usually) and they spent lot of time and money for theyr job. So they are allowed do things usually denied for others people. They should also something especiall compared to public transport
