But being in the trenches with people pulling you in a dozen different high priority directions is tough. The important thing is to ship high quality products fast.

Keyboards is a big issue. I think keyboards suck (big learning curve and far away from thinking speed), but they're still the best we have by far. Using anything else is too inefficient.

30-40h is for some masterpieces that can fill it. 40+ is unnecessary and can be left for a sequel or dlc. (This is ignoring silly side missions)

Ideal game lengths: 10-20h is enough for a great story and a smallish world. Ideal for busy moments 20-30h is the optimum length. Enough to go deep into the world and not so long that you need a year or to ignore responsibilities to finish it.
