My son’s new summer hobby is collecting ladybugs. Mine is rescuing them, giving them a calming drink for their nerves, and rehoming them in 4yr old free vegetation.

That is Toronto though. I miss it dearly but also don’t regret leaving it for exactly this reason. So many friends are killing it career wise now in software, yet struggle to get into the housing market.

The prospect of a mercenary force getting access to a massive nuclear stockpile is not super appealing. Combo of coup chaos and profit seeking commanders w/ conflict-zone contacts… probably get some “entrepreneurial thinking” going on.

I do like it overall, but it has felt a bit less together. That said, having a show that isn’t centered around high school and whatever is super welcome, and frankly a rarity. I’ve mostly been following Gundam and Demon Slayer tho.

Is there a todo list (or task queue) that exists on the week level? I use a paper notebook (hobonichi) for daily/next day tasks, but want something for broader planning. Have used trello in the past, but wonder if there is something better.

Also, this is veryyyy specific to fdm printing. The resin SLA world is its own nightmare I don’t really understand because I’ve never been willing to gas my toddler with resin fumes in an open concept apartment.

Bambu has slightly more contemporary tech, but is closed source and actually engaged in a patent war with the OSS community. Prusa i3 mk3/4 is reliable af, but slightly older tech. The new XL is more contemporary and has a giant build area, but good luck getting one. I have a modified i3 mk3 and love it.
