Would have expected significantly more volume on prediction markets this week given they seem the purest play way to make bets on - rate cuts - probability of a recession - almost anything about the tariffs

Good point, I agree. Could be that rapid shifts in sentiment to extreme fear spook retail and lead to decreased short term appetite for speculation.

Yes - highest retail buys in a decade Thrs followed by highest net sell volume before noon, ever, on Fri! Retail psychology is fascinating, and whipsawing all over
