There's so much value in simply writing down things as they're happening + sharing those thoughts publicly

Case in point: Namecoin came up in an internal discussion the other day as an early protocol that had been working on something similar to what we were debating. 

Namecoin was a 2014-era crypto project. USV documented pretty much every interesting flavor of what was happening crypto at that time - and because of that, I was able to find two informative blogs on Namecoin in under a minute

It is sad how much doesn't get written down and also sad how much ends up in walled gardens like Discord - writing stuff on proper public websites in markdown/document format is king I would say.
