PadoLabs.org united with a vision: To empower users to own and unlock the value of their personal data, and provide tools for builders to shape the future of on-chain identity and reputation. 🎯 The goal? An open-source, community-driven project benefiting the entire ecosystem. Soon after, more teams like Passport.xyz and @trustalabs joined, integrating or directly contributing to the project, and are now an integral part of its governance.

In just 2 months, the team built the protocol from scratch, with key innovations such as transparent and verifiable validation of attestations through Portals smart contract. Keeping openness at its core, Verax was made compatible with existing solutions like EAS and NFTs. Since then, we've seen extremely exciting use cases emerging: 🔹 Open, inclusive, transparent Proof of Humanity systems leveraging attestations from a wide range of issuers 🔹 Reputation systems like The Snap Permissionless Distribution, or @okapixyz’s on-chain dapp reviews, enabling the curation of the best dapp in the ecosystem without a single point of control And we are far from done! We released the v9 of the protocol just yesterday and more exciting news is coming. Stay tuned! 👀
