everything is web3 is either a blockchain or a protocol. verifiable compute is pretty close but its not decentralized or permissionless. these tools on their own don’t give us enough to replace web2, so we will use web2 systems as a fallback. i don’t believe mass adoption of web3 happens without completely eclipsing web2 capabilities.
