defi is the one area where people do actually use composable legos because protocols have liquidity moats

if there's no liquidity moat though the incentive for a business is to fork/"roll their own" instead of plugging in an existing lego

its pretty hard to represent anything besides money with tokens. 
most useful data/actionable systems have interconnected data structures that we can’t represent with tokens alone. 

im on a journey to fix this and its not at all easy.
