Getting caught up in the constant stream of noise as an escape from present feels familiar. However, without realising this, it's hard to notice its effects. Your piece brings awareness to this. Like a call to emerge from the hyperobject that constantly demands our attention.

Uuu yes! Thinking about it as a body of water implies our connectedness to it - an immersion. At the same time our ability to dry off on the shore and just let it flow by ensures a balance. I love how this highlights our interdependence with nature and also our body and mind.

I think that’s been the biggest shift for me - being able to dip in and back out of the stream. And watch the stream without swimming in it. It’s becoming aware of the observer within - I think that’s the hardest piece for most
