A great example is a candle.

You could buy one from @samantha or from Walmart.

The money sent to Samantha would benefit her business, allow her to spread the wealth to her local community.

Walmart will take the profits and eventually will send some of it to a superpack to better encapsulate their business.

Any good cost of living reduction tips?

We have reduced our eating out habits to once a week maximum! Now we shop more frequently at farmers markets 😊

Ahhh I understand now and you are completely correct!  Most people underestimate their ability/power to create change.

I started by aiming to buy things less frequently, and was able to reduce my cost of living to a fraction of my peers (even with kids).  This gives me the power to aim my dollars towards people/companies I align with.

We have the power!  Let’s use it!  🏴
