Hi folks! Quilibrium's ceremony has passed the threshold on the number of rounds before we are ready to move on to the partial network launch.

What does this mean?

In four days, the sequencer will stop accepting contributions, and a ceremony client upgrade to convert CLI operators into partial nodes will be required.

What hardware specs are best to run the MPC ceremony for the upgrade?

The computation required is not necessarily intensive, so even a raspberry pi 4 should be able to participate, it’s just very high bandwidth.

So it would make sense to run a single instance per network when the upgrade drops?

Essentially the general expectation of node operators is that they can swing 50Mbps symmetric. If they can exceed that, then it would probably behoove the operator to run several nodes if they have a want to saturate the connection for maximal rewards.
