i tend to find the actual core messages of tds to be more balanced & centrist than the general public would believe, but the in-studio audience reactions and clear partisan bias always ruins the humor, for me at least

100%! the worst part in this clip was obama accusing black men of refusing to vote for harris was absolutely ridiculous yet the audience tries to make you believe the ridicule is on the men for "not voting for harris" when we actually have no idea who they'll be voting for at all

Yeah it's true - the audience is super left but a lot of the commentary was on point.  For instance John Stewart was one of the biggest critics of Biden running again - basically acknowledging that he was far too old to be running the USA.

This particular clip works for every political group IMHO.  We always have people "speaking for us" who honestly have no clue.
