just tried this 'mosquito bite healer' the wife ordered off amazon, it's supposed to reduce irritation by lightly burning it for ~6 seconds 😭

yikes she might want to try afterbite (make sure it's the one with ammonia and not baking soda) i can see the device is trying to use heat to denature itchy proteins afterbite changes the pH to denature itchy proteins (b/c pH changes the electric charge between amino acid bonds) https://www.amazon.com/After-Bite-Insect-Remedy-14Ml/dp/B000KU919G
