I see Americans talking about Trump financial policies, and there is this concept that he could reverse some and things will go back to normal, or even improve. If you're one of them, you are missing how much traditional US allies have changed the way they see the world. 

It's a big mistake not to recognize how the US benefited strategically and economically from post-WWI-pre-Trump2025 status quo. 

This is gone and it's irreversible.

imo, that change was already happening well before trump entered the picture 

personally thought i felt that shift in the mid 2000s, at least in asia as local markets started to prosper again (incredible what a little confidence can do for states 😆)
