been using a microsoft surface arc mouse for >2 years with only complaint being it requires batteries (2 AAAs for ~1 year)

one of the batteries exploded (found corrosion leaking all over), cleaned and replaced batteries but mouse is kaput

so now i'm in the market for a new mouse 🐭, any strong recommendations?
