I got the Pixel 9 yesterday cause trade in value was good and discount decent. I've never been so underwhelmed by a new phone; it'd be the same if it was an iPhone tbh. The WOWOW factor of phones is long gone.

There are nice features! Don't get me wrong The fingerprint reader is so MUCH FASTER it's near instant And the camera features are cool though idk how often I'll use em And battery life barely budges! But I recall going down an iPhone 5 to an iPhone 6. It was like camera significantly better, oohh different shape, long press button... Y'know if felt like an upgrade This feels like an update

what'd you trade in for it? currently on a pixel 7 that i got <2 years ago, still good but battery life is suddenly noticably down

I had a pixel 6a I got nearly 2 years exactly Battery was still decent; I use my computer all day not my phone But the Google store gave me $225 for the 6a; I wouldn't be able to sell it on Craigslist for that easily So the camera and specs on this phone are a large upgrade but from appearance it's like an iPhone knock off 😂 I've made peace; id rather trade in my phone every two years and just take what they give versus run it into the ground.
