it can be eaten whole! they're typically not very big and have a similar consistency to a peach, but less sweet and more grainy imo.

I don't know the type of this fruit and have never seen it before, maybe this fruit is very rarely grown in Indonesia.

But of course, it can be eaten whole, specially the small ones, just like the small fishes.
