it’s the beginning of a bull market and farcaster isn’t growing. is farcaster dead?

theory: if it’s true that farcaster isn’t growing much in users yet this bull market, it might be because this cycle is so nascent that it’s mostly just existing players getting themselves less offsides and not so many net new people yet… and most of those people already had Farcaster accounts. Anecdotally, I have seen many dormant accounts awakening, and overall engagement seems up. Possible, or cope?

I think that’s a plausible theory. The current bull market does feel like it’s mostly attracting existing players who are re-engaging with the space rather than a massive influx of new users. If dormant accounts are awakening and engagement is up, it could mean that Farcaster is building a foundation and preparing for broader adoption when the market matures. It’s not necessarily "cope," but more like a slow burn as the ecosystem gains traction. We might just be in the early stages of something bigger.
